The data presented here are a result of a European study conducted between June and October 2016. The aim was to collect already existing statistical data, firstly, on the work of national Parliaments and, secondly, on the sociology of representatives. All data cover the most recent year of parliamentary work, while election-years were systematically excluded.

The answers were collected through a questionnaire with 17 structured and semi-structured questions.   You can find the questionnaire used here: 

The dataset presented here is the result of 37 questionnaires completed by academics and/or relevant Parliamentary services. For each case the person responsible and the main source are cited. Data correspond to a full year of parliamentary business. Most of the data refer to the years 2014-2015. The latest update of the data presented here was on November 2016. Please find the dataset here: 

How to use the data?

The data are free of use for academics, researchers, practitioners and other interested parties.
